Gold-plated relay and switch contacts.
The signal from the pickups of an electric guitar and bass is so weak that poor-quality cables, cold joints and cheap contact m aterials ruin your sound.
Switch contact need to be made of special materials to permit loss-free switching of these low-level signals.
All Lehle switchers feature special relays and slide switches with gold-plated contacts for totally reliable, absolutely zero-loss switching.
The Lehle LTHZ transformer.
Hum loops and phase cancellations can occur as soon as the signal from an instrumentis fed to more amp simultaneously.
The one and only remedy for this is a high-quality transformer.
Standard transformers modify the tone of electric guitars and basses very severely, since they are not designed to handle the low-strength high-impedance signals generated by instrument pickups.
The lehle LTHZ, on the other hand, has been specifically conceived for use with these high-impedance signal, preserving intrument tone and the interaction between instrument and amp and eliminating hum loops.
Goodbye to hum loops.
All Lehle products not featuring an LTHZ transformer and bearing this symbol switch the signal ground parrallel to the signal itself via switches or relays with gold-plated contacts.
Hum loops are thus effectively eliminated when switching backwards and forwards between different signal sources without, for example, simultaneous activation of two amps.
Stereo.
Many effects units feature stereo outputs.
Or: instruments frequently have two pickup systems, e.g. a combination of conventional magnetic and Piezo types, to emulate an acoustic sound. Lehle accessories are ideal for trouble-free routing of such dual-channel stereo signals.
All stereo-capable Lehle products are, of course suitable for mon operation.
Transmit and recieve MIDI.
All products in the Second Generation of Switching (SGoS) range are programmable and can be networked with each other via MIDI program-change commands.
External MIDI equipment can also be integrated without difficulty.
Programming is intuitive, and is quick and easy to learn.
Adjustable gain.
Adjustments of volume ar distirtion using a gain controller is a vital feature in many situations.
The gain controller on the corresponding Lehle products feature black anodized aluminium knobs set back into the housing so that they can be easily fingertip rotated but keep their settings during performance and transportation.
18V.
To exploit the dynamics of tube amplifiers to the full, the input voltage of Lehle products bearing this symbol is rectified from the power supply socket, the filtered, stablized and doubled to 18V.
Silent Switching
Switching precise. swift and quiet.
Swift and precise switching as between differenct instruments, effects loops or amps is essential in many live setups.
To ensure this almost silently and wear-free, RMI have designed a finely tuned control system with a self developed spring located between the footswitch, and their famous mushroom head, and actual sensing device on the circuit board.
A prcessor based on the ARM Cortex-M technology controls the switching operation very fast and precisely. While a conventional switch can handle a maximum of 20,000 switching operations, the interplay of components used here enables a service life of 2 million switching operations. A hundred times more!
4-Band EQ
4-Band EQ
An EQ is primarily intended to raise particularly desirable frequencies in a sound spectrum as well as filtering out the undesired ones. With the 4-band EQ this can be accomplished very intuitvely.
Dividing the mids into high (HM) and low mids (LM) expands the possibilities of finding the individual favourite sound, since the mid range particularly affects the timbre of the instrument.
With pot T you control the highs and with the pot B the basses. The treble control is a shelving filter. while the high and low ratio mids and the bass frequencies are boosted or cut via bell filters

FEATURES:
* A/B input switcher.
The Acouswitch IQ DI offers two high impedance inputs with discrete circuit design. If you connect two instruments to input A and B, the A/B footswitch allows you to toggle between the two. The signal from instrument A is routed to channel A and the signal from instrument B is routed to channel B. If only one instrument is connected to input A, the A/B footswitch routes this signal to channel A or channel B. The ''MIX'' switch located between input A and B allows you to combine and mix both channels.
* High-end acoustic guitar preamp with parametric EQ and body contour control
Channel A of the Acouswitch IQ DI features a high-end preamp and a three-band EQ, designed for acoustic instruments, offering bass, semi-parametric mids with a broad frequency range (100 Hz to 6 kHz) and treble controls. The body contour control acts on both channels.
* FX Looper
The Acouswitch IQ DI offers two effect loops: a passive serial loop and a switchable, infinitely variable mixing loop enabling you to go from a completely dry signal, through parallel, on to serial looping. A phase-inverter switch ensures that any out-of-phase signals do not cancel each other out when in parallel mode. And a Tuner Out keeps the tuner out of the signal path.
* Clean booster
A footswitch and a volume control allow you to add a second high-end amplification stage, upstream of the mix loop. This allows you to feed tracking, or overdrive/distortion pedals, with an adequate input signal. If the mix loop is not in use, the booster serves as an extremely clean solo booster.
* DI box
The Acouswitch IQ DI acoustic guitar preamp can be used to send an output signal directly to a mixing console or recording unit. The high-quality components and features of the Acouswitch IQ DI (high-end preamp, ground switch, pre / post signal processing switch, pad for output attenuation) in combination with the Lehle True Sound technology make this acoustic guitar preamp an excellent DI box, whether you're using it at a live gig or in the studio.
* Line mixer
The Acouswitch IQ DI can also be used as a line mixer. To do this, the return socket of the mix loop is used as the input and the ratio of this signal to the signals coming from inputs A and B is adjusted using the mix control.

LHASJ Lehle Acouswitch Junior

The Acouswitch Junior is a compact multi-functional tool for musicians who perform on stage with electric instruments as well as with acoustic ones and wish to use the same effects for both with one pedal board. With two separately controllable high impedance inputs it becomes the control center within the electric and acoustic setup. The control over which signal is sent to the PA or the amp remains with the musician, without re-plugging cables. It does not matter whether you're using it for acoustic music only or for a combination of both electric and acoustic instruments, the Acouswitch Junior is designed for both alternatives. The Junior features an active DI Out (XLR) and a line-out jack as selectable outputs.
To allow universal usage, the A/B switch can be configured individually, depending on the setup:
For example, in one configuration line- and XLR output can be mutually muted, depending on the input being used. Toggling between the inputs is just as possible as mixing them together. For a purely acoustic setup the outputs can be always activated, too.
In addition to the 4-band EQ for channel A, the Acouswitch Junior has a serial effects loop, a tuner-out output with mute function and a built-in clean boost effect. Effects loop, mute function and boost can be managed via the mute / loop boost footswitch in various combinations.
The proven Lehle True Sound Technology with familiar features like the discrete JFET-input stage, or switching via gold-plated relays make sure that the Acouswitch Junior provides an excellent sound.
Internally the Junior also works with 18V, but nevertheless is content with all power supplies from 9 to 15V AC or DC. The extremely robust design with protected controllers and the almost indestructible switching mechanism provide many years of fun while playing with acoustic and electric setups.

FEATURES:
* A/B input switcher.
If two instruments are connected to Input A and B, the A/B footswitch permits toggling between the two inputs of the bass preamp, whereby the signal from input ''Instrument A'' is routed to Channel A of the pedal and the signal from input ''Instrument B'' is routed to Channel B. If only one instrument is connected to ''Instrument A'' the A/B footswitch routes this signal to Channel A or Channel. This allows to call off per footswitch either an adequate sound setting for the second instrument or to make available a second sound setting for one instrument for instance for slapping or when changing from finger style to plectrum playing.
* High-end bass preamp with parametric EQ.
The Basswitch IQ DI features a high-end bass preamp and a four band EQ with double semi- parametric mids specifically designed for bass instruments.
* FX Looper
The Basswitch IQ DI offers two effect loops, a passive serial loop and a switchable infinitely variable mixing loop, that enables you to go from a completely dry signal, via parallel to serial looping. A phase-inverter ensures that any out of phase signals do not cancel each other out in parallel mode. Additionally a Tuner Out keeps the tuner out of the signal path.
* Clean booster
A footswitch and a volume control allow you to add a second high-end amplification stage upstream of the Mix Loop. This allows to provide tracking - or overdrive/distortion pedals with an adequate input signal. If the Mix Loop is not in use, the booster serves as a real clean solo booster.
* D.I. box
The Basswitch IQ DI bass preamp can be used to send the output signal directly to a mixing console. LHBSCLASSIC Lehle Basswitch Classic Boost

When Lehle designed the Basswitch Classic Boost they had in mind classic passive P, JJ and PJ basses.
This compact preamp combines the Basswitch IQ DI's boost with a 3-band-eq especially voiced for vintage basses.
Additionally the treble control combines a passive high frequencies reduction with an active high frequency boost.
This can substitute the installation of active electronics in the instrument, collectors or owners of vintage instruments will appreciate this, and your vintage bass will receive a new sonic shine without altering the characteristic sound of your instrument.
The Basswitch Classic Boost allows gain adjustment of +/- 15 dB and can be used as a stand-alone booster, it can be teamed up with the Basswitch IQ DI for more options or work as a compact standalone preamp in front of an active monitor or bass cab.
The approved Lehle True Sound Technology ensures a great tone: starting from the discrete JFET input stage, up to the switching via gold-plated relais this booster offers a more than studio-standard dynamic range of over 110 dB with very little noise.

The Basswitch Clean Boost was born out of the idea to buy the Basswitch IQ DI another full-fledged channel.
This compact preamp combines the boostfunction of the Basswitch IQ DI with a 3-band-eq that has been especially voiced for a clean sound.
Additionnaly the treble control combines a passive high frequencies reduction with an active high frequency boost.
The EQ of the Basswitch Clean Boost has the feel of a mixing console channel to it and allows a strong bending of the basic signal.
It consigns a wonderfully tidy soundscape and your instrument will receive a new sonic shine.
The Basswitch Clean Boost allows gain adjustment of +/- 15 dB and can be used as a stand-alone booster, it can be teamed up with the Basswitch IQ DI for more options or work as a compact standalone preamp in front of an active monitor or bass cab.

LHBSDB Lehle Basswitch Dual Band Compressor

The Basswitch Dual Band Compressor is a high-end compressor in pedal size built especially for bass instruments.
By intelligently linking parameters like attack and release, the amount of controls could be reduced whilst those parameters are dynamically adjusted to the bass-signal. So, operating this device becomes an intuitive, simple and fast act - a clear benefit for live performances.
Equipped with two fully fledged high-end compressors working in two adjustable frequency-ranges, the Basswitch Dual Band Compressor allows effective and harmonious compression of bass signals.
This includes contouring fast staccato-passages, well-defined slapping-lines and a smooth concentration of the sound.
Whether a function similar to a limiter is required or only small peaks shall be balanced out, the variable compression ratios from 1:1 up to 10:1 create the preconditions for a variety of possible sounds. At this the blue LED shows the intensity of the compression - the harder the two VCA feed forward compressors work, the brighter it glows.
Due to its soft knee-characteristics the Basswitch Dual Band Compressor provides a smooth and subtle transition to the compressed sound.
The bypass mode of the Basswitch Dual Band Compressor can easily be changed from Buffered-Bypass, where the device acts as a totally neutral line-driver to True-Bypass, where the input and output are linked with zero losses to one another via a relay with gold-plated contacts.
The input voltage is rectified, then filtered stabilized and doubled to 18V. This guarantees the necessary headroom to handle high peak levels and makes an active/passive switch redundant.
The extremely robust construction with its protected controls and indestructible switching mechanism will provide many years of joy with the Basswitch Dual Band Compressor.
           
LHBSEOD Lehle Basswitch Enhanced Overdrive

The Basswitch Enhanced Overdrive starts where a little distortion is not enough: from subtle harmonics inspired by the compressed valves of a bass amplifier, to warm and pleasant saturation, and even up to a brute distorted signal.
Although there is a complex circuit working on the inside of the pedal, the intuitive operation of the 4 controls makes it simple to find a great sound, due to the intelligent linking of parameters.
The Mix control enables you to blend the processed signal with the original, so the instrument keeps its tonal character without losing definition or low end. Whether it’s gentle saturation or loud screaming that you desire, the Basswitch Enhanced Overdrive never sounds muddy - a clear benefit in band situations.
The Tone control is placed before the gain stage and therefore changes the result: this allows you to shape the overdrive by prioritising the frequencies that achieve the most saturation.
The external input voltage of 9 - 15 V is rectified, then filtered, stabilized and doubled to 18V. This guarantees the necessary headroom to handle high peak levels and makes an active/passive switch redundant.
The extremely robust construction with its protected controls and indestructible switching mechanism gives the Basswitch Enhanced Overdrive consistently reliable operation - even in the wildest Heavy Metal thunderstorm.
           
LHBSSONIC Lehle Basswitch Sonic Spark

The Basswitch Sonic Spark integrates a harmonic overtone generator into a complex EQ section that will make your bass sound shine over stages, studios and rehearsal rooms.
This sonic flavour enhancer is equipped with Lehle True Sound Technology, which means it switches via goldplated relays, has a discrete JFET input stage and works internally with 18 V. The Basswitch Sonic Spark has a gain control of +/-15 dB.
This will also enable our three Basswitch babies to work as a compact standalone preamp in front of an active monitor or bass cab, while the housing is designed to perfectly match the Basswitch IQ DI.
